Duna Aszfalt Zrt. /cPLC/ informs the public, its creditors, and bond investors that, as part of its business development plans in Central and Eastern Europe, it has signed an agreement with Mota-Engil SGPS SA to acquire the Mota-Engil Central Europe group, an active participant in Poland's construction and real estate development market.
The execution of the acquisition requires approvals from the relevant Polish authorities and certain financial institutions, which the parties aim to obtain in the first half of 2024.
This transaction will enhance Duna Group's international presence, strengthen its role in the construction industry, and help it achieve the status of a regional mid-sized enterprise owned by Hungarians.
